Sneak preview of the lovely Louise and rob at West Tower in Aughton, Ormskirk.
This is a little preview or one of my recent weddings at the stunning venue westtower http://www.westtower.com/
I have photographed quite a few weddings here over the last few years and I can honestly say its one of my favourite wedding venues.
Not only is it really light and spacious inside with lots of glass and floor to ceiling windows so lots and lots of light (so a photographers dream)
It also overlooks a really pretty farmer’s field (and anyone who knows me knows I love a good field to photograph in)
Not only this the sun sets in this field and the sky always provides us with gorgeous colours.
The staff are really lovely especially Lyndsey who is in charge who always goes above and beyond to make everybody feel welcome.
The day began at Louise and Robs house were Rob was getting ready with his ushers and best men.
This involved playing X Box and having a few shots of whiskeys to help them on their way. (I always encourage a few pre-wedding drinks to help settle the nerves plus they make great shots.
Once I had got the shots I needed I made my way to Louise who was staying at her parents. Both Rob and Louise are so chilled out and lovely which helped create that kind of atmosphere for their day.
When I first saw Louise with her dress and make up on I was blown away. Louise always says she doesn’t wear makeup and not used to dressing up and if that’s the case she definitely should more often as she looked absolutely stunning. She has the most striking blue eyes and she has such elegance about her that she was a dream to photograph. The makeup artists Louise used were the amazing Flossy and Leigh http://www.flossyandleigh.com/
I have worked with Flossy and Leigh a few times now and they are some of the best in the business and are lovely ladies too J
Weather wise it wasn’t perfect, in fact in rained all day. However I hope this blog puts my future bride and grooms minds at rest, that even if it does rain on your special day it certainly doesn’t ruin the day or your pictures as you can see from the images below we got some really beautiful shots. I have to say a thank you to Louise and Rob who were great sports and were pretty much up for anything I suggested including standing in a soggy wet field :)
I love Louise and Robs really cool taste in music. And in the evening they definitely didn’t disappoint.
Louise and Rob had a rock and pop band play called Agent Smith. If anyone is looking for a band for their wedding or event or occasion then I really recommend them. They have so much energy on stage. The singer gets the crowd going, his voice is amazing and atmosphere was electric! http://www.functioncentral.co.uk/acts/agent_smith/
I ended the night with a final shot of Louise, Rob and friends outside as the sun was about to set. I handed out my sparklers and got a great shot of everyone cheering.
Congratulations and I wish you all the Love and Luck in the world.
(Not forgetting my lovely assistant Beryl)
